Organizations tasked with distributing reports via email are faced with a multitude of individual requests ranging from personalization for recipients, email formatting to email audits. SAP BusinessObjects comes with a robust scheduler for both report scheduling and bursting via Publications. There are however limitations to this tool, which led my team to InfoBurst.
Over the past year, I have created possibly hundreds of InfoBurst report distributions and upgraded many existing Publications to InfoBurst jobs. InfoBurst does an amazing job of creating customized email bursts to audiences of varying sizes. This session is focused on highlighting the features of the tool that I discovered while satisfying user requests. I will show how they made my daily job easier and how implemented these features. Look out for Events, Triggers, HTML formatting, Parameter passing to distribution lists, Burst testing and more.
