How to Enhance Your Webi Dashboards with Add-on Components
Scenario Planning Dashboard - Data and Statistics to Influence Business Strategy in a Pandemic
1:00pm – 1:50pm
The COVID-19 pandemic left many businesses with a high degree of uncertainty. At Holman Enterprises, we used this as an opportunity to leverage statistical analysis of our revenue streams relationships with macroeconomic trends. This analysis informed us of potential lost revenue recovery timelines which we leveraged to model a number of new opportunities to either proceed with or cancel. First built in excel, we then transitioned the model to the dashboarding tool R Shiny so executives and strategy offices can see periodically updated statistical analysis, model various inputs to change outcomes, and use the outcomes in executive presentations. Furthermore, we are working with cross functional teams to connect to financial systems databases and present a more real-time outlook of our businesses financial forecasts.
My Experience with The Patient Experience Dashboard
2:00pm – 2:50pm
Having worked at USPI for over six years (that’s a lot in BI years), I’ve had the pleasure of watching dashboards evolve over time. From concept to solution. From report to dashboard. From Excel to XML Data. From Xcelsius to Squirrel. There is no other dashboard that I’ve worked on that has gone through such evolution as the Patient Experience (PX) Dashboard. So, join me as I talk about this dashboaboard’s humble beginnings, it’s many data (and requirement) changes, it’s transformation from Xcelsius to Squirrel, and much, much more!
Let's RUN with Sprints for BusinessObjects Project Management

Multiple recent projects involving this management style have led to some interesting conversations and discoveries specific to a reporting environment with multiple pieces working together towards maximum usage and adoption. We’ll walk through lessons learned and discuss and demo options through real experience.

Join us, as Ziv Barzilay (Director of Product Marketing at Salesforce) chats to Donald MacCormick (Chief Strategy Officer at Squirrel365) on how they achieved this, the value it is delivering, and the role Squirrel played in the project.
